Hin Man (Jasmine) Chan

Recognized as one of the rising clarinetists in the young generation, Chan Hin Man Jasmine is an accomplished clarinetist in solo, chamber and orchestral music. She recently earned her Master of Music in Orchestral Instrument from the University of British Columbia, studying under Mr. Jose Franch-Ballester, after completing both her Advanced Certificate in Performance and Bachelor of Music with Honours at the University of Toronto. Jasmine has performed with numerous orchestras, including the University of British Columbia Symphony Orchestra, the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Hong Kong Festival Orchestra, where she has taken on both principal roles and auxiliary instruments such as the E-flat clarinet and bass clarinet.  With over seven years of teaching experience in clarinet and piano, her students have achieved excellent examination results under her guidance. Jasmine finds deep fulfillment in witnessing her students thrive. She is passionate about expressing herself through music, collaborating with fellow musicians, and sharing her artistry with audiences.
